Building a Discipling Community is the first of four units offered in partnership with 3D Movements (Missional Communities Australia).
This unit begins with an outline of the biblical and theological basis of the nature and purpose of personal discipleship and its relationship the gospel and the Church. It will examine practical ways of expression of a discipleship culture in a local church context and students will engage in practices designed to enable them to begin to build a discipling culture within their church and ministry.
The unit will commence with a four-day seminar where content and practices will be presented.
Upon successful completion of the seminar students will engage in a directed and facilitated coaching and training process designed to help them establish a discipling culture in their own church context.
