This unit examines how Christian faith and spirituality impacts our understanding of, and engagement with the arts. Students will explore how the visual arts historically as well as in contemporary culture have been engaged to communicate issues or topics of spirituality. Drawing upon their understanding and experience of spirituality and through the development, production, collaboration, and an understanding of aesthetics as well as the exhibition of an art work students will further expand their creative process, skills and their abilities of creative communication as well as their understanding and interaction with social practice as they explore the use of the arts in connection with spirituality in contemporary culture.
