Rev Dr Michael Bräutigam

Acting Co-Executive Principal

Michael Bräutigam studied psychology in Germany (University of Trier) and theology in Scotland (University of Edinburgh). He currently teaches both disciplines at Melbourne School of Theology/Eastern College Australia. Michael established the Centre for Theology and Psychology at MST/Eastern College, currently serving as its Director (https://ctp.mst.edu.au). He has published on Adolf Schlatter’s theology (Union with Christ: Adolf Schlatter’s Relational Christology, 2015) and questions of discipleship at the intersection of theology and psychology (Flourishing in Tensions: Embracing Radical Discipleship, 2022). Michael is an ordained minister with the Free Church of Scotland and supports the preaching and teaching ministry in various churches in Melbourne.
