The unit will explore the human experience of faith and spirituality as it relates to youth. Students will grow in their appreciation of the biblical perspectives on spirituality, identity and vocation, and how these can be integrated with key developmental questions and tasks in a young person’s life-span development. The unit will also explore the connection between spirituality, discipleship and faith formation in young people. Various individual and corporate practices aimed at interacting with and developing spirituality in young people will be explored, with an emphasis on the role of the faith community.
