Graduation Day Information - Class of 2019

We look forward to sharing this special event with you on Tuesday 4th February 2020!

Location: Wantirna Campus (5 Burwood Highway, Wantirna)

There are two components to graduation day:

  1. Graduands Celebration, Prayer and Prophecy
  2. Graduation Ceremony

Graduands Celebration, Prayer and Prophecy

As part of the preparation for and celebration of this special event, this part of the day is open to all Graduands.

The Prayer and Prophecy session is an opportunity for you to be prayed for by staff and other students. Graduates have commented that this time has been one of the most special in their life at Eastern and a significant one in preparing and sending them on to what the Lord has for them.

Please arrive at 1.45pm to sign in for a 2.00pm start.

Graduation Ceremony

Graduands who are not attending the Graduands Celebration, Prayer and Prophecy must be at the venue no later than 4:00pm for graduation gowning, rehearsal, and photographs.
Please note: You must attend the rehearsal to be eligible to graduate and if you are late you will miss being in the Class of 2019’s photograph.

The actual graduation service will begin promptly at 6:30pm. Visitors should be seated comfortably before that time. To help make this day one to remember, the service will be followed by a light supper for you and your guests. We encourage you to invite friends and family to attend.

Graduation Attire

Graduation is a formal event so we ask that you dress accordingly. In the interest of aesthetics, we ask our graduands to wear smart casual. All graduands are to wear black shoes where possible. (Thongs are not appropriate footwear for this event). If you wear a jacket on the day, it will be stored and labelled in the gowning room while you are wearing your graduation gown.

We will supply your Academic Regalia for the evening, including your stole or hood (colour), trencher (cap) and gown. You will need to provide us with your head circumference and height as part of your application to graduate. Please be aware your gown may be pinned to your attire.
