Victoria is a highly experienced educator with over 30 years of teaching practice, known for her kind, compassionate, and approachable nature. She brings a deep sense of care to her work with both students and teachers, and is passionate about creating learning environments where all students feel understood, supported, and challenged. She currently also lectures part time at UNSW where she has worked as a research assistant, teaching assistant and course convenor. Victoria was awarded the Dean’s Prize for Academic Excellence in her Master of Education – Research. An engaging and thoughtful presenter, Victoria has shared her work at national and international, and state conferences. She is also the Australian Ambassador for the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children and the Asia-Pacific Council for Giftedness. Victoria is especially valued for her ability to translate research into practical, low-prep strategies that teachers can use immediately in their classrooms. Her work focuses not only on academic challenge, but also on the social and emotional wellbeing of learners, supporting teachers to respond with both insight and empathy. Beyond her professional life, Victoria is deeply committed to Christian education and is actively involved in her local church community, where she serves alongside her husband, children, and their families. Her faith and relationships continue to shape the warmth, generosity, and integrity she brings to all aspects of her work.
