Jenny is married to a wonderful man, Ken Provis, and they live in a house they are renovating on the top of Mount Dandenong. They have seven grandchildren ranging from two year old twins to an eleven year old.
She began her primary school teaching career in 1981 in a Catholic school in Mooroolbark. She had one year of teaching with the education department in Moe and then started in Christian Education (Oxley College, 1984) in what she calls ‘the good old days.’
From there she has taught in many other Christian schools in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne over a span of 38 years. She was fortunate recently to teach in East Arnhem Land where her husband worked with MAF for 18 months. She has a strong passion for Christian education and always considered it a privilege to share God’s love with the children she taught.
She’s hoping through her time spent with you, you will come away with a sense of awe of how God can equip you to teach His precious children, whether in a Christian or government school.
