Library Hours and Access
 

The MST & Eastern library is open, however due to COVID-19 restrictions a maximum of 32 (based on one person for 4 square meters) people are permitted to be in the library at a time.

Teaching weeks:

Monday – 10am to 6pm
Tuesday – 10am to 8pm
Wednesday – 10am to 8pm
Thursday – 10am to 8pm
Friday – 9am to 5pm
Saturday – 10am to 4pm

Non-teaching weeks:

Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm

Conditions of Entry:

You must remain at home if you have a fever, cough, sore throat, or other symptom associated with COVID-19.
You sign in via the Victorian Government QR Code Service.
You maintain social distancing.
 
The library staff are also pleased to offer an order and collect service for those who do not wish to enter the building. To take up this offer, or for any other library inquiry please contact Neil or Josella on 9881-7823 or via email library@eastern.edu.au.

The Collection

The Library at MST & Eastern contains over 118,000 items including: reference materials, books and audio-visual materials. In addition, the library also contains over 55,000 journal issues. The library services faculty and students of Melbourne School of Theology and Eastern College Australia, as well those from the public who take out individual membership.

 

Library and Online Databases

The Online Catalogue is available to search for items in the Library. Searches can be done for electronic material through our Online databases and Ebooks. You will need your Student ID and password.

Policies

Please refer to the policies section for more information on library policies for external borrowers. Within the library, there are catalogue terminals with free Wi-Fi. Non-student Resource Centre membership is available.
