Mentoring Pre-service and Early Career Teachers Professional Development Day

Good mentors are an essential resource in schools, both for mentoring early career teachers, as well as for supervising pre-service teachers. Effective mentoring practices provide opportunities for growth and learning for both mentor and mentees.

If you are currently mentoring or anticipate mentoring either pre-service teachers on professional experience placements or early career teachers, Eastern College Australia invites you to a mentoring training day. Come and hear from our experienced speakers and improve your effectiveness as a mentor, gain from the experience of mentoring for your own development, and promote peer mentoring in your work place.

This opportunity contributes towards the professional development requirements for VIT renewal of registration relevant to the Professional Engagement domain of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.

TICKETS: $50 ($40 for partner schools of Eastern)

This price includes morning tea and lunch.
Ample parking is also freely available onsite.
*Registration closes on the 1st of August.
